Why do you not turn off Bluetooth after 5 minutes?
Due to the special way Battery Extender is implemented we react to changes in the battery level rather than monitor for inactivity of a specific feature. If we monitored the Bluetooth connection for inactivity we would be consuming more power and would likely undo all of the power saving benefit.
Should I exit the application once I have selected a profile?
Battery Extender is split into two parts. The first is the configuration application that you use to select and customise a profile. The second is a minimal application that performs the battery optimisation. When you exit Battery Extender the configuration application is closed but the clever part continues to run in the background. So after you have selected or customised a profile you can exit Battery Extender and be safe in the knowledge your battery optimisations will be happening in the background.
